Porthmeor Studios Renovation Project 2010

Welcome to the Porthmeor Studios Renovation Project website.
The Site has been designed and built by photographer Graham Gaunt and is being updated on a monthly basis as a photographic document in progress of this important Grade II* listed building.
Porthmeor Studios in St Ives provides workspace for fishermen, artists and the St Ives School of Painting, but is perhaps best known for the internationally significant artists who have worked here, including Ben Nicholson, Patrick Heron, Francis Bacon and Wilhelmina Barns Graham.

Regeneration The Sheffield Project
Regeneration 1991 is a serious-minded project which seeks to document the changes taking place over a three year period leading up to the World Student Games to be held there in 1991. The project includes commissioning 12 photographers mounting three exhibitions, the publication of a book and the initiation of an archive, all thanks to the initiative of Matthew Conduit, (former director of the Untitled Gallery)
